I have pondered a number of times about how so many people become ensnared in the wiles of Satan.
In order to recruit his “customers”, he has a slogan (like many of the Fortune 100 companies).
Maxwell House Coffee for example has a slogan of “Good to the Last Drop”.
Budweiser – “Where there’s life, there’s Bud”
And I remember, back when cigarettes were heavily advertised slogans such as the one designed to hook female smokers, “You’ve come a long way, baby”.
Satan has a slogan to, just as those who advertise cigarrettes, alcohol and other addictive substances. His slogan is “Freedom Without Responsibility”.
This is so appealing, because it means that men and women can eat drink and be merry and there are no consequences.
One thing I have learned, however, is that Satan never shows you (nor do advertisers of addictive substances) the end of the road. If he did he would not have any customers. Unfortunately, by the time the end of the road is reached, it is “everlastingly too late”.
