Live Within Your Means
It is hardly news today to hear of the stock market going up or down several hundred points. Thousands are out of jobs and struggling, which leads to financial turmoil in society and even more so in families around the world. But there is hope in the gospel. Here is a great quote!
“If there is any one thing that will bring peace and contentment into the human heart, and into the family, it is to live within our means. And if there is any one thing that is grinding and discouraging and disheartening, it is to have debts and obligations that one cannot meet” (Gospel Standards, comp. G. Homer Durham [1969], 111).
In our own lives we have felt that peace when we have lived within our means!
